Safe Working at Height

What the Work at Height Regulations actually require, and how to plan and carry out work at height safely. Work at height means anywhere a person could be injured by falling - above or below ground level.

• Assessing risk and selecting the right work equipment
• Controlling the risk from fragile surfaces
• Inspection and maintenance of equipment
• Setting up exclusion zones, proximity hazards and means of escape
• Fall restraint and fall arrest systems, and the rest of the PPE
• Rescue planning and emergency procedures

Assessment & certification

Theory and practical assessment on the final day. Successful candidates are registered with the awarding body and issued the relevant card or certificate.
