- Static loading, shock loading and the risks in team lifting
- Formal and dynamic risk assessment - avoid, assess, reduce, and the TILEO factors
- The MAC and RAPP assessment tools
- Selecting and maintaining appropriate PPE
- Safety checks at the work area
- Safe handling techniques, load assessment and mechanical aids
Assessment & certification
Theory and practical assessment on the final day. Successful candidates are registered with the awarding body and issued the relevant card or certificate.
