The National Safety Passport recognised across engineering construction sites — the baseline safety qualification most contractors require before anyone sets foot on site. Two days covering the hazards and control measures common to engineering construction.

Assessment & certification

Four sessions of classroom tuition, each closing with a multiple-choice question paper. Successful candidates leave with a temporary safety passport valid for six weeks; the ECITB then issues the full card, which is valid for three years.
